Meet the Kirklees Faiths Forum team

 Fakhara Rehman
Community Faiths Co-ordinator

I am passionate about faiths, education and equalities and how they impact on our world. I believe that by working together towards achieving harmony, fairness and equity, the people of Kirklees can a make a big difference. We all have something to contribute and I endeavour, with the KFF Team, to actively engage with all sections of the community and give your voices a shared platform. In the current climate, locally and globally, the faith communities cannot afford to remain passive spectators; we must exert our united influence at corporate, strategic, and operational levels.

Community Faiths Development Officer

I have a passion and a strong commitment to the equality and diversity agenda.   I love working with people from all areas of the community across Kirklees, to bring people together to enjoy both the things we have in common and the things we don’t!

Administrative Officer

I cover the second half of the week in the Kirklees Faiths Forum office and I’m always happy to help with any enquiries you may have about the Forum and our activities.  I have worked in administration for 17 years starting out at Park Lane College in Leeds.  I enjoy working for the Forum as no one day is the same and it makes me realise what a vibrant, diverse community we live in and the need to promote understanding between different communities within Kirklees.

Zainab Akudi
Administrative Officer

I spend the first half of my working week at KFF as an Administrative Officer. The second half of my week is spent working at a local primary School as an Educational Teaching Assistant. When you contact the office by phone, it will often be my voice that you will hear. I organise and make arrangements for visits to the Kirklees Faith Centres and I take care of the day to day activities in the KFF office.
