Focus on Faith
A series of events, lectures and seminars to give people of faith a voice in today's big debates, to encourage dialogue between communities and develop understanding.

A series of lectures, seminars and other events looking at key topics in the community which are important to us all, giving people of faith the chance to contribute to today's big debates.
Previous topics covered include:
- Charity, Giving and the Robin Hood Tax with keynote speakers Rev Dr Philip Bee and Imran Azan
- Faith and The Environment with keynote speaker Dr Phil Webber, head of Kirklees Council's Environment Unit
- Faith and Disability with keynote speaker Ajmal Masroor, politician and broadcaster from London.
- Faith and The Media: Are The Tabloids Brainwashing Us? with keynote speaker Navdeep Kandola, independent film maker currently working for The Guardian.
- Faith and Gender: Is feminism still too radical for modern Britain, or a relic from the past? with keynote speaker Etta Cohen, managing director of Forward Ladies, the North's largest women's business support organisation.

Events take place at the University of Huddersfield and are organised in partnership with the Huddersfield University Faith Centre.
